Stephen's 1966 Mango that we did a body off restoration for him, Is now ready for him to enjoy the last little bit of sunshine there is!!! Alex came down this morning for his MOT, the bus passed with a couple of minor advisories. We will sort out for Alex next time the bus comes in, Alex brought his birthday present with him which is a brand new MCJ light oak steering wheel with Wolfsburg crest horn push. Alan’s earlybay came into us for a brand new engine, Alan opted for a 2110cc engine which pulls fantastically, with a custom oil cooler scoop and external oil filter all coupled together with stainless steel over braided ptfe lines. To enhance Alan's camping experience we rebuilt his leaking Doormobile windows, then a good machine polish to bring out that turquisey blue. It’s now ready shinning brightly and preforming fantastic ready for the summer of camping trips.

Been a busy couple of weeks down at absolute vw, hoping the sun holds out for the weekend so everyone can get out and enjoy their vintage VW’s.

Steve’s beetle came in for a MOT which it failed on brakes and ball joint boots. After a full inspection the whole front end was needing a real good go through as you can see from the pictures the adjuster took a hefty whack and bent the anti roll bar as it was so low previously the ball joints where binding. So with new long travel ball joints, disc brake conversion, painted arms, rear brakes and leveled out suspension and tracked up so it was cruising as it should and not causing any issues. We then installed rear seat belts x2 3 point inertia and x1 lap belt.
It now drives and brakes like it should, ready for a summer of cruising.
