I wrote a (parser) game!
Sooo... my partner and I spent the last five weeks writing a parser game, a spooky text-based game where you play as a tiny bugfolk who's very hungry, weirdly hungry actually, but it's fine, it's normal, don't even worry about it. Wear tiny costumes! Eat sweet treats!
This is 100% a passion project, no monetization involved; we worked really hard trying to make a small game that was friendly to beginners, prioritized story over puzzles, and introduces an original world without being overwhelming. I'm proud of our little project and just wanted to share. I'll drop a few parser tips under a read more in case anyone wants to check it out.

idk how likely it is that anyone on the transgender autistic website likes text-based adventure games, but i have an entry in this year's interactive fiction competition if anyone wants to check it out. i'm new to inform 7 and i wrote this in a couple of days, so it's pretty amateur, but i think it came out pretty fun. i would call it a dungeon crawler. you could potentially call it transgender body horror erotica.
it's unfortunately unavailable to ip addresses based in the UK due to the game having mature themes and the ifcomp website not having the resources to accommodate the online safety act. if you're in the UK and don't have a vpn and want to check it out, i can send you the zip and you can play it in your browser from the html file.
