🍳 — cooking: Yongguk rather sucks at cooking. He can do basic things as well as most anyone, but since he doesn’t have the taste for mortal food anymore it doesn’t usually wind up being anything note worthy. If he has to buy food for any reason, it’s usually something easy like take-out so he doesn’t have to bother with it. **In his human life he was pretty good at making a couple of staple fish dishes his family would make when he was young.

🌍 — knowledge of the world: He has a pretty healthy knowledge of things despite how out of touch he can seem at any given time. It’s his job to have ears and eyes almost everywhere that he can gain access to, so he likes to keep up with the turnings of time. He’s also quite good with geography, cartography, and has a great sense of direction.

🍺 — alcohol tolerance: It depends on which verse of him we’re talking about, but both are generally high for him being a vampire. In his main verse, he can’t actually drink alcohol but the effects of being drunk are transferable if he drinks from someone drunk. He likes to indulge, always has and always will. In his secondary verse, he can drink and does, though isn’t much able to get drunk.

The alien perked up, straightening her back at the sound of another’s voice. Was it directed towards her? Her bright head turned ever so slight, doe eyes stealing the slightest of glances at the source of the noise. When it seemed like a comment made just to one’s self, she redirected her gaze forward to the row of little rose bushes she’d been eyeballing. They didn’t seem very busy. Maybe she was unwanted?

“Is it long?” she spoke up, a bit nervous at using English again because it’d been many, many years since she assimilated the language from a paramedic when she initially crash landed on Earth. “Your..shift. It’s a long one?”

Sakura, alone, wandered through the forest. There was an slight overcast that afternoon, but the trees made the forest a bit darker. It was quiet. In the distance, you could hear the water from the creek running down stream, and small animals climbing up the trees or scurrying across the forest floor. The forest was a place where the young kitsune could be without too much of a care in the world. Well, she rarely cared about anything except two people: her twin and her mother. No one else. For now.

As she neared the creek, the kitsune stopped dead in her tracks when she heard quick footsteps. She couldn’t catch a strong smell, but she knew it wasn’t a human. Sakura swallowed hard, her nails extended, and quickened her pace to the creek.

Please don’t be an oni, please.

He’s not going to stay in New York for a long time. At least that’s what he’s telling himself -- ever since he left his motherland, he’s not stayed anywhere for longer than a few months. Norway held the current record with eight months but that’s only due to the fact he got to live in a rather secluded area. New York City was far too loud, far too crowded, far too messy for his liking. A heavy sigh escaped the Slav as he looked towards the street dancers who have taken over the public square showing off their skills. Yet again his plans for a quiet afternoon were ruined. Why was he even still here? Somewhere from the side he heard a gasp coming most probably from someone who was in awe for the talent presented by the teenagers. “No” he stated before any the other even made an attempt of conversation with him. He’s not interested.

《 ※ 》 HE HAD COME to New York seeking inspiration. His designs lately had been lacking finesse and it had become noticeable in the eyes of many. Despite refusing to leave Seoul and being too thick-headed to the notion that perhaps his fire had burnt out, he found himself booking a flight back to the states and encompassed in a totally different environment from the place he called home ever since his sprouting adolescent years. It was certainly a change of pace, one that took a few days to get used to. The sound of incessant honking of horns and chatter took over his senses as soon as he landed a few days previous. However, he still couldn’t find what he was searching for. Out of frustration he finds the next best outlet: dance. After browsing through various dance classes he finally chooses one. Sangcheol didn’t exactly come prepared to express himself through body movements, except for shoes he would deem worthy of dancing in. So he shows up, backpack slung over his shoulder in a plain crewneck sweater and denim jeans that were stretchy enough to move around in. The studio reminds him of the one he teaches in back at home. Only this one is more spacious, more pizzazz or whatever the terminology is. It just had more spunk to it in comparison to the one in Seoul. Not that he minds it since he loved the studio he teaches in. As soon as the class is paid for, the shuffling of his shoes move across the hardwood floors. Dark pools of brown soak in his surroundings, studying the few bodies that were present. He’s early. Which was good. Hmm. Now where should he place himself ? Exhaling quietly, the red head moves towards a space next to another male that had already settled down. Readjusting his backpack, he moves towards that general direction and sits a few invisible bodies away from him. Once settled, he decides to make conversation. Casual. He’ll be dancing with these people for about an hour anyway. ❝ You here for the dance class ? ❞ No shit Sherlock, of course he is. Good one Cheol, ask a very obvious question.
