“Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread.
~ Isaiah 8:12-14a
This man was sucked into QAnon for two years. Here's how he escaped the virtual cult.
[Jitarth Jadeja] now thinks one of the toughest challenges in trying to deradicalize a QAnon believer is that they view the opposition as "pure evil.""This is a big problem, not just because people are being taken in and their families are like being ripped apart," he said. "This is an existential battle between good and evil that these people think they're fighting." He says he used to think the same thing.
God I wish I could just relive the past election night all over again.
Go on. I'll wait.
The Onion Says it Has Bought Infowars
The Onion, a satirical publication that skewers newsmakers and current events, said on Thursday that it had won a bankruptcy auction to acquire Infowars, a website founded and operated by the conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. The Onion said that the bid was sanctioned by the families of the victims of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, who in 2022 won a $1.4 billion defamation lawsuit against Mr. Jones and his company, Free Speech Systems. Everytown for Gun Safety, a nonprofit dedicated to ending gun violence that was founded in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook shooting, will advertise on a relaunched version of the site under The Onion. The publication plans to reintroduce Infowars in January as a parody of itself, mocking “weird internet personalities” like Mr. Jones who traffic in misinformation and health supplements, Ben Collins, the chief executive of The Onion’s parent company, Global Tetrahedron, said in an interview.
The Onion declined to disclose the price it paid for Infowars and its assets, including its production studio and diet supplement business.
Podcast idea
I wish I’d never listened to knowledge fight so my wife could have a podcast where she explains episodes of knowledge fight to me in a knowledge fight type format where she is Dan and I’m Jordan but we are knowledge fighting knowledge fight. Could name it Data Battle.

"And the entities are telling them 'Eternal life, total power, total control, everything you could ever want just kill everyone. Set up a world government. Build this design we're telling you. Build what we're telling you. Build this, build this. Let us through, build the Hadron Collider, open the dimensions, let us in. We're gonna really help you, we're FRIENDLY little guys'".
