Alot of past years Street Fighter fans who hated Ingrid never realized Ingrid does fit in with the goofy cartoon vibe of Street Fighter even if that series had its serious moments. Many of those haters forget Street Fighter 2 prior to Turbo and Alpha making things dark when 2 was comical cartoony with its whacky fighting characters. The original live action Street Fighter movie with Raul Julia M Bison and Ruby Spears's cartoon embraced Street Fighter 2's cartoony goofy camp style, which is why they become so memorable. Now everyone is talking the new movie is going to bring them Street Fighter 2 kind of whacky fun in the newer Street Fighter movie.
Yeah I'm looking forward to the Street Fighter movie but also Ingrid was never out of place in the series when Gill existed LEADER OF THE ILLUMINATI & IS MULTI COLORED JESUS CHRIST WITH AN ATTACK CALLED SERAPHIC WING! So suddenly Ingrid chilling & being Capcom's equilvant of Magilou from Tales of Berseria but given powers of a composer from The World Ends With You suddenly doesn't sound that outlandish
