most of his days are spent in his human form. as comforting as it was whenever he was a wolf, the second he transformed, he lost control. it's not really something he could afford, not when he had to constantly be on the lookout.
tonight, however, he was giving into the beast and letting it be free. it had been clawing at his chest ever since finding out that his sister was still alive (if that's what you could call it), begging to come out.
as he wanders through his woods, he scans his surroundings. pays attention to the sounds and smells, making sure nothing is out of the ordinary. he and his wolf were about to give it the all clear before a twig snaps. the hair along his spine bristles as he bares his teeth, giving warning to whatever may be lurking.
one wrong move and he's pouncing.
