There were many expectations of Orson since returning to his hometown. Even though he lived on his own his mother yearned to see him constantly. A way to satisfy that need of her was by agreeing to attend church. He wouldn't tell her this but when he moved away he rarely went to a religious service but there was some nostalgia about the whole thing. Quickly he found himself enjoying the Sunday service mainly because of the new priest, the handsome priest. Right away he felt something, off about him but not in a bad way. As they were leaving Orson's mother insisted the two meet and from meeting the older man's gaze that feeling only intensified.
Now Orson found himself thinking of the other in ways that were anything but holy. Which is how he found himself back at the church a few days later looking to confess. Sure he wasn't overly religious but if anyone could hear these thoughts without extreme judgement it would be a church leader. As he settled into his side of the confessional booth he sighed with relief at knowing someone was there. "Forgive me father for I have sinned," he started feeling the words fall out of his mouth without having to think about them.
