curious for a while of (have searched and cannot find),, what, Inherent means in the context of your comic, may asking ????

In the context of the comic it refers to folks who have magic!    People who can cast and channel magical effects are inherent/ have inherent magic. People who cant are noninherent.   So in the realm of the comic, Almost all elves and some humans are inherent, while the majority of humans and all goblins are noninherent. If a goblin tries to cast a spell, it just won’t work which is why they’ve worked and built up their use of machines!
