-The past few weeks held moments of rage from Remi towards Aidan. They showed times where she would completely fall apart in his arms. There were times that she turned to him for physical distraction. And then there were times when she was on no roller coaster at all, and appeared to be the girl who wasn't damaged, who had never hurt anyone or been hurt at all. There were times, such as this, that she had it all together, and caught a glimpse of a boy that she once knew a long time ago, before a career, before the deaths of her entire family, before leaving for college. She could see a boy, 16 years old, that thought she hung the moon and in that moment, she was the girl who was madly in love with him. She caught herself having one of those moments as it appeared his eyes were to hers, as if perhaps he were having one as well. She could have fallen into it, saying words to him that had once been common place for them, but so much had happened and she had learned just how deep the words could hurt someone. She knew they were still very true, though unspoken between them, now sitting right on the tip of her tongue, threatening to push forth in a moment that felt a decade in the past. Remi easily allowed herself to be that girl that loved a boy before she ruined both of their lives. One step and then another, she took his hands into her own, looking down at the man that sat before her, her heart racing within her chest as she brought her forehead against his own, her eyes bearing into his, a whisper to her lips.- I owe you. I owe you more than I can ever make good on as there is absolutely no one else in this world like you, Aidan Fisher. You've seen me at my best and at my worst. I don't know if you know this or not, but you are absolutely all I have left on the face of this shitty planet. So thank you for never giving up on me.
