“Eh, it’s not good enough?” Galo cocked his head to the side, his plain white t-shirt not really up to par with the rest of the restaurant. The host looked him up and down with minor disdain, explaining to him that they expected some sort of dress code.
Looking like a kicked puppy, he scratched the back of his head and pulled out his phone. “I mean last time, you just told me I had to wear a shirt, right?”
“I definitely don’t mind whatever I gotta wear, but maybe you could, uh,” he held out his phone, “Look up what you think I should wear? I mean, I hear your pizza is really really good! Amazing, even!” The host didn’t take the phone, instead walking away to deal with other customers. Scratching the back of his head again, he sighed.
“Maaaan...” Turning to the kid next to him, he offered a lopsided grin. “Upper Fib can be a pain sometimes, huh? But hey, you definitely look fancy enough!”
