Yi Yi had planned plenty of things ahead of time in order to get this day to go smoothly, so she was excited for the day ahead. She’d taken a weekend off for the three of them to spend time together and to help strengthen her relationship with Ava seeing as how she wasn’t home much to give Ava the attention she needed or deserved. 

Her clothes could have been cuter, sure, but would they have been as comfy? No. Which meant she wasn’t going to change anything. It was warm so she’d thrown on a pair of nude crepe culottes with a reasonably baggy plain white t-shirt tucked in. Yi Yi made her way back into the living room after getting changed and retrieved sun-cream from the fridge. Ava was running around the house already excited and Yi Yi smiled before pulling her over by the hand. “Nooo~” Ava giggled as Yi Yi began to apply the sun-cream to Ava’s exposed skin. “You’ll burn and your skin will be sore.” Yi Yi explained, looking up to Jinwoo who’d just walked through. 

“You too.” She said, before applying it all over her bare skin she could after she’d finished with Ava. “Here you go.” She handed over the sun-cream to him. “Is everything ready? The food?”

He’d been wearing the mask all day, mostly out of habit since he’d been working right before he’d run into Lola. A job that had taken over three hours to complete and made him forget he was wearing the mask; her calling him out on it reminded him of it’s presence “What’s the problem?” He responded, trying to make it seem a purposeful wardrobe choice, before pulling out a seat and sitting on it backwards with his arms resting against the back. “I’ve been told I’m too handsome for the eyes, I don’t want to distract everyone while they’re working.”

Yi Yi let the door shut behind her as she returned home, slipping off her shoes and replacing them with slippers. There wasn’t much noise, which was unusual since Ava should have been home and by now she was usually hungry and vocal about it. Jinwoo must have taken care of it, which she should have been thankful for if she was able to see her daughter within proximity. “Where’s Ava? Is she asleep?” She asked as she placed her bag on the side to unpack work she needed to finish by tomorrow morning.

❛I can’t believe you won’t help me.❜ [ Yuriko x Fox ]

This woman was at least a good six years older than her and was sat there demanding help. Age didn’t matter too much, but what was the point of acting as though a nineteen year old was obligated to help you? As a “real” adult, Fox should have known how to help herself. And not only did Yuriko not care enough to help, she also had not been asked nicely nor had she been involved in this in the first place. So, really, if anyone was to be in disbelief it was Yuriko. 

For a few moments she just sat in silence before she turned round in her chair, placing her legs around the back and leaning her arms against the top of it with her head settled on her arms. “Why’s that?” She asked, tapping her fingers against the chair as she awaited an answer. “Last I recalled, you were the one who broke it. You just dragged me along here; I’m clean.”
