There was also the fact he had literally no time to go to the movies since he had to, you know, work and shit. “What difference does it make to watch at the cinema rather than home? You can’t even eat what you want at the movies because you’ll have some geezer straight up in your face or selling you out to the attendant. Next thing you know you’re being kicked out five minutes after you just spent $30 to get in. Now if that ain’t some absolute bullshit, I don’t know what is.”

He’d been wearing the mask all day, mostly out of habit since he’d been working right before he’d run into Lola. A job that had taken over three hours to complete and made him forget he was wearing the mask; her calling him out on it reminded him of it’s presence “What’s the problem?” He responded, trying to make it seem a purposeful wardrobe choice, before pulling out a seat and sitting on it backwards with his arms resting against the back. “I’ve been told I’m too handsome for the eyes, I don’t want to distract everyone while they’re working.”
