Last night I stayed up to illustrate a banner for this blog. I like the way it turned out.
I've already done a decent amount of work on issue 1, so hopefully I can get it out this month. Also doing some concept stuff for act 2.

Did a quick sketch yesterday of a cut scene from act 2. It didn't work out thematically but I liked the imagery.
Skywarp
This is the first of many character announcements I will be making, starting with my personal favorite: Skywarp.
|Context|
Skywarp has followed Starscream through the fall of empires, the decay of revolution and the death of divinity itself. To them, a world with Starscream is a world with hope.
They serve as the soul of the Elite Trine; the trickster who gives their trinemates much needed levity. Where Starscream looks into the void and curses its meaninglessness, Skywarp simply laughs at the absurdity.
My take on Soundwave. Inspired mostly by the silent, menacing version of Soundwave from Transformers Prime. He hears all.
I changed his alt mode from an sq-9 to a b-2 Spirit. Would not want to see one of those on my doorstep.
More final designs for the cast of Initial Decepticon are on the way. The first draft is making fast progress.

I'm keeping Skywarp as an f-15. Here is some concept art of him wearing clothing.

In the current draft, Starscream has a bit of a redemption arc.
After an incident with Megatron, he is left to doubt the Decepticon cause, and eventually sneaks away. He searches for the other two members of his trine who haven't been seen for some years.
As a character who is inherently proud and selfish, he finds joy in preforming impromptu air shows over rural Japan.
