yeahhh.... idk why people act like he didn't betray anybody. and when they do admit it, they act like it wasn't selfish.

it was! it was very selfish. it's okay to like a selfish and neutral character but i think it's weird to deny those things

Ink didn't betray his friends for new emotions actually! Ink did all of that because the creators were leaving their works/AU's and he almost went crazy because of it (there's a section in 0.6 where Drewm said about Ink having constant breakdowns over the state of the multiverse/creators). All he wanted was an event that created something interesting and fun for the creators to come back, but everything went to shit so.....(Ink even goes "what the fuck have i helped to create" in 0.7 part 2)

cool! awesome! people leaving their works only affects him. this only harms him. his motives in underverse are still selfish and bad. his actions are for him and him alone.

he DID betray his friends for emotions. he did all that shit so xgaster could give him emotions so he wouldn't need to rely on his pants when the creators all leave. which is a completely selfish action and is wrong.

him not taking his vials and not drinking them was a PLAN that he PLANNED. this wasn't on accident.

it's okay to admit your fav is neutral/bad.

Just a reminder that Ink didn't knew about the actual events that happened in Xtale (like the child abuse and all) but he did know that X!Gaster had "plans" or something like that. So much so that he is surprised to find Cross alone in Xtale (or what it used to be). There's also the thing that Ink didn't drank the blue vial in Underverse (it's constantly shown as completly full) and since it is the vial is heavily implied to be sadness/remorse by Comyet (Jakei acknowledged it), so that's the reason to why he seems kinda unbothered by the events (a least in the earlier eps, since he's taking notice of his actions in recent ones). In general, i just genuinely think that Underverse Ink is an actual idiot, i mean, 0.7 part 1 ep literally has Fresh say how dumb he is.

i don't think this excuses him. he "didn't know" okay. does this excuse it? no. i think ink not drinking his paint so the betrayal is easier is a huuuuge cop out. and so is him being "stupid so he didn't know any better"

also "i genuinely just think underverse ink is an actual idiot" ???? you're just telling me the underverse plot is stupid.

i think making him stupid so his actions have less of an impact is suuuuper dumb. another cop out ! if you guys can't admit he did it on purpose i think there might be denial at play.
