@inkedharts: “you’ll be even worse off if you don’t let me bandage this.” from hannah
the pain is unbearable, though she fights her hardest to hide her winces and hold her injured arm to her chest. perhaps it was stubbornness, a refusal to look weak - after all, they were in the midst of a quidditch match, and the last thing ginny weasley wanted to do was to let the slytherin git who knocked her off her broom have any satisfaction. to her, the only logical solution, was to go back out on her broom and win the match.
the game is on timeout, the whole school watching as a decision was made about ginny weasley. there was contemplation over whether or not she should continue, and peaking through the concerned students and professors, she notices the slytherins smirking atop their broom sticks, feeling victory was imminent.
‘no, not necessary, i’m fine.’ ginny insists, forcing herself up off the ground. she has every intention of continuing to play.
though between hannah abbott’s warning, and the searing pain in her arm, she questions if she even has the ability to fly on her broom. with a reluctant sigh, she turns to the hufflepuff girl hopelessly.
‘reckon you can get it all sorted by the time time out’s done?’
