A Grape Offer

Outside the weather was storming, so it was likely there were few visitors to the shop that day. As another tremor of thunder crashed, you would likely find yourself glad you were inside, away from the downpour. Unless you weren’t...

One such figure stumbled into the shop... if stumble could be the right word? Their body seemed to distort as they moved, and their feet never touched the ground- if they even had any hidden under that cloak. From inside the hood, all that was clearly visible were two glowing yellow eyes. They handed Bitter a note, or more like a note fell out of their sleeve and landed in front of Bitter. It read: “I was told you have an Oregon Grape Holly for sale? I desperately need one for their medicinal properties- more so the berries on it than anything else. In trade I will give you... this stick.”

The figure held out a stick about 3 feet tall toward the flower.

Tam scurried up. "Suro said you needed Boric Acid? Fortunately, I got my lab brought over, and lord knows what my dad used the stuff for, but I ain't using it, so take it."

( n3n) “Thank you !”

“Hmm… top uses include a flame retardant, antiseptic and … exterminating roaches?” Inky began thinking about Suro’s dad fighting fires, treating infections, and battling fifty foot roaches. Clearly one of those three options must be the answer.

For the ingredients I was hoping to get them from actual muses- specifically so I knew what timelines they came from, and potentially even what future forms they might enable Inky to make. For example if you were Portalier, that’d potentially enable her to turn into TURRETS or CORES with memories of Aperture- I’m not sure if that’s who you are as a few of my other friends can summon portals as well.)(If you have a muse please resubmit the ask with their identity in [brackets]. Super bonus if you say where it’s from to give me an idea on the things mentioned above-there’s a whole lot of different AUs! Thank you for understanding!)

Hello friends... I am going to need help soon...

Hello friends!

As you may know, my friend Hysteria and I are trying to bring me back to life. And we’re gonna need INKgredients.

Right now we need...

Determination!

Monster Dust! Which usually contains the shards of...

Monster souls!

I don’t want anyone to die! Nope nope nope! But I think a few of my friends have timelines filled with dust? If you would be willing to part with it- and lets face it, most monsters have no use for dust- it would really help me out.

Also! Ink creatures need DETERMINATION to live. But getting that without hurting someone... Hmm... if anyone had extra determination in them I have an idea how to go about it.

I don’t imagine anyone would have any extra monster souls laying around, usually they shatter moments after the monster dies... but luckily there are usually lots of shards in dust!

...

Once Hysteria and I figure out the other ingredients I’ll make another post! And some of that stuff I get the feeling will be more even more technical. Hmmm... do I know any scientists... Maybe some will see the next post! I sure hope so! But the more dust I can find now, the better. We ink beings take a lot of dust to create.
