Since the cups are made from porcelain have they ever considered fixing their cracks and broken pieces from other ceramics? Or fill in their cracks with laquer? Their is a technique called kintsugi that can fix broken cracks in pottery.
Cuphead and Mugman don’t know any certain way how to fix their cracks. And since Mugman’s handle was chipped right off, they just got used to getting the cracks.
And never with other ceramics since they’d be considered weird in a way… (it’s like putting new skin on ripped skin)
Plus the technique you mentioned hasn’t come to the western part of the mythical world since it’s the late 60’s so it was hardly known!
But hey! Y’all got a small portion of the world building!
I have other couple questions hope is fine lol. Is your Boris based in Tom or the "cartoon Boris"? And what inspired you in each design?
This one will be a minor tricky one since I’ll will release more of his own background. But your question and I’ll answer.
Tada! He’s actually both!
Back when the Joey Drew studios was at its all time high with their new created performer and singer, Bendy the Dancing Demon, they thought it was a perfect idea that he would have a best pal to star with.
That’s how Buddy Boris was created! Both star in mini films, songs and even plays on paper!
He was a lazy but good guy who just listened to what anyone really said because his brain is just— not there lol. But he was a loyal brainwashed cartoon in the studios, Bendy even wanted to play around with him in their early days but Boris was too “uninterested” only to listen to his creators commands in the studio.
But there was something lurking in the shadows the their creators department, something about Joey asking Henry to create more cartoons is just not a simple thing to do. There was tons of work to do before an actual cartoon character comes to life.
Joey Drew, he knew what he was doing the moment he brought Bendy the Dancing Demon to life. Physically moving, touching and feeling, speaking and thinking.
But it wasn’t fair for Boris, his was a little bit more difficult.
Since Bendy already had feelings and was already sentient enough to not need a soul. Boris was somewhat braindead and had zero thoughts or emotions whatsoever.
So Joey thought of a wonderful volunteer victim for his twisted fantasy, Thomas Conner.
Tom was tricked into believing this wouldn’t do any harm to the workers of the department but oh he was wrong. Tricked like a fool into giving his soul away to his insane invention to have the inky creatures come to life.
With the experience he has sadly endured, he has also seen everything the actual toon has been through, all the psychological trauma made him realize that the studio is one big fraud stack.
Using all his might, he and Bendy secretly ran away as far as their cartoon legs could run away from it all, away from the pain, away from the lies.
And it was now in Boris’s honor to protect and defend Bendy at any cost.
He was the only one the demon had in the entire world, of course he needed to stick by his side.
Bendy actually knows who he really is and felt like it was unjustified that Joey had to even do that to Tom.
But to keep his head down of his past, he went with Boris and reworked his last name to Conel.
And the designs is by other AU characteristics and their year I based them all in the story! Even their occupations!

Just found your blog, really like the designs. What other characters are you planning to add? Also, what's the relationship between Bendy and Felix? Only thing I liked about them was their father-son dynamic (I mean, from Felix perspective... It was weird tho)
Their relationship will be fairly simple! And very, very much of lone dad finds random kid and all that holly jolly.
But.
Felix isn’t your typical cat, he’s sometimes even not mentally there.
He’s been having trouble with his reality senses and always seems to imagine something else.
Someone else.
More of that are for future chapters that will explore more of Felix’s mysterious backstory!!!
And yes I have plans for other characters but I won’t say what yet! That’s something for me to know and all of you to wait and see!

Hi! Love the au! I have a question, Will Mickey and Oswald be in this au? If not, that’s cool. But will there also be other crossovers in this? Also I love how Boris looks in this!
Indeed they are! Of course they were the usual entertainers that they are but something else more magical underneath.
And yes there is bound to be more crossovers with characters you all may know but some you all will be surprised with!
And thank you, he was a tough cookie to put together but I’m happy on how he turned out!
