the last two inktobers. That's it. That's all I have for this year. I know I had two more after these, but I think it'll be better to continue on those nextt year before my new challenge. I am really happy of how this month turned out. This is the best inktober I'v ehad and I know things are to get better. I know I got to get better with preparing myself so that I post up one daily, and that not to exert myself so much, but I am really, really happy with how this month. I hope everyone here had a wonderful halloween, and I am going to draw some more!

‪Inktober 2019 Day 14: Overgrown

wild and untamed she is not abandoned she is reclaimed sprouting in hidden places remembering forget me not faces ____ For today's Inktober I actually went back and revisted a longer poem I wrote a while back, and still rather like: fav.me/dbgpxnb since it has some very nature-y themed and thus reminds me of the word "overgrown." In that way, I was thinking a lot of the concept of plants overgrowing and taking something back as a metaphor for a person reclaiming themselves becoming new people after bad experiences. I also tried to incorporate the idea of plants overgrowing and taking back an abandoned building in the little bit of silver/gray and the shaping in the background. Not sure how well that reads, but at the very least there's the green for the plants and some pink and yellow for flowers. Honestly, I let myself have a lot of fun with this one. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but "overgrown" was just a really inspiring prompt word for me. Though that means it had the most alternate lines to work through before deciding what felt the best.  This one word took up almost a full front-and-back page in my notebook, where as other days have only taken maybe half of one side of a page. I was also thrilled to realize that I did indeed have a "get," and "remember," to use instead of having to pull the letters together myself! Because I know I did not have "get," in my one original set when I did the year-long challenge or Inktober last year, and I originally felt like "remember," was maybe a little too long and a little too infrequently used of an R word, but then I double-checked on there it was. Inktober 2018 Headstart!

Greetings! Three things: First, as I mentioned in my last post, I will be getting a headstart on Inktober drawings. Yes, technically that is cheating, but since I work a full time day job....this is the only way it’s going to work for me. And I really want to do all 31 days! I think I got them all done last year but I can’t remember.  Second thing, I’m just flat out making it a Kingdom Hearts themed Inktober LOL. Last year I ended up making most of them Kingdom Hearts related anyway, so I might as well make it intentional this time around. SO IF YOU ARE INTO THAT, BUCKLE UP.  Third!! I will be posting the drawings early to my Patreon for my $5+ tiers. Depending on how many I have done at the current time, I will post a new one a day, or whenever I get the latest one done! I would like to make some of them an exclusive postcard for my Patrons once it’s all said and done too, and it’s just a good place to get together and chat/give ideas/...etc.  I already have Day 1 uploaded, so check it out if you like! Here’s an early good luck to everyone this Inktober!
