charming is one of my favorite things about myself because when i was growing up teachers would tell my parents i was charming like it was the worst possible thing to be so i think its badass

4) the best thing that has happened to me this week.

well being home is definitely super fucking nice (look! there's something besides old tomato sauce and cake crumbs in the fridge! we've got toilet paper!) but i also just got my quarter grades and i did pretty well! like, better than i was expecting to be sure.

8) my last night out in detail.

lol the meme presumes i go out nights. what i do at night i do in the dorms (we are the party dorm, so this is not to say i don't do anything), and when i do go out it's generally with chicagostucks. chicagostucks are fucking great, okay. led by our fearless leader tumblr user inkstrangle, who has an actual sixth sense for tiny foodie places, we brave the terrors of the CTA, searching for the quirkiest eateries known to man. (shoutouts to ink, lanta, norway, allegra, beckah, and everyone else whose name i can't remember, forgive me guys)

16) a drunken story.

i never remember anything from when i'm drunk (also i don't get drunk very often when i drink and it's always in the dorms) so here's a story of when everyone else was drunk, which was better:

MANY EONS AGO on new year's eve 2010, me and all my high school friends drank and smoked our way into 2011. an hour into the new year, we decided to play hide and go seek. in the dark. in my friend V's rather large house. i'd been found and was trailing behind the seeker when we heard a THUNK and a scream and ran upstairs to find V stumbling from his closet, bleeding from the head. Turns out L, who had been in there with him, was very high (and also really fidgety for ADD reasons) and had knocked a dumbbell off the closet shelf onto V's face. The next hour was spent determining if V was concussed (we...didn't really want to show up at the hospital with our current blood alcohol levels, so we were VERY glad when it was just a cut/bruise thing), frantically cleaning blood off the wall to wall white carpeting (bless you, oxyclean), and stepping over my friend D, who was also high, and had decided to sit in the middle of the fucking doorway. I maybe haven't conveyed the humor of this story, but let me tell you its really fucking funny in retrospect and every time my friends get together over break this story gets brought up at least once. It's like our mascot or some shit.
