throw your hair in a messy bun, drink some blood, put on some nine inch nails and jerk off face down
drinking a dreamsicle vodka float and finally catching up on my zines-only to-read pile
the people who said tetsuo 2 body hammer is bad were pretty spot on huh
the thing about introducing harm to kingdom hearts is that now seeing this thing makes them burst into tears
they started hyperventilating because of how stupid its legs are
you can't say "hey has anyone noticed that M/M fic outnumbers F/F like 100:1â or âit feels racist that only 3/202 characters on the ao3 top 100 ships list are Black and two of them are Alastor HazbinHotelâ bc some ppl will start going like âoh so you think we should FORCE people to write about things they DONâT CARE ABOUT for WOKE????â and youâll be like âno, iâm pointing out that the conditions that created this disparity are informed by racism & misogynyâ and ppl will say âitâs not BIGOTED to only care about WHITE MENâ and then the gargoyle king appears
I've never looked at the shein website, as I have stated elsewhere I am pretty exclusively a thrifting and slow fashion girlie these days. that said a lot of shein shows up on the resale apps (which is, admittedly, a funny concept to me) and I can see how people could get suckered into it. by what I have to assume is a process of throwing a lot of spaghetti at a lot of walls there's a pretty big diversity of styles and if you don't know what to look for in terms of manufacturing and materials that will last more than three wash cycles (and either don't know or don't care about sweatshop conditions) I can understand getting dazzled by that but also

what the hell even is this. Who on earth is this for
I subscribed to UNNAMED STREAMING SERVICE a few days ago and gave the login info to all my friends, as one does, but one of them went in and turned on 2-factor authentication and set the phone number to her own cell phone, locking me out of the account
It was an accident and we got it fixed but for a brief moment the betrayal and fury was so great I blacked out and was possessed by the spirit of like a 19th century naval officer, I was pacing around my room like "TO THINK THAT JUDAS HIMSELF NUMBERS HIMSELF AMONG MY COMPATRIOTS"
a lot of things seem hopeless right now. i just want to say that its not. despite everything, there are still good things. let me remind you, that-
there are over 243 kÄkÄpo, and it is the first breeding season in four years. at least 74 of their eggs so far are fertile and have potential to hatch. in 1995 there were 51. [1]
there are 607 california condors as of last year. in 1987 there were 27. [2, 3]
there are 110 'alalÄ (hawaiian crow), while they were pronounced extinct in the wild in the 1970s-80s. 5 have been released into the wild in the past 2 years. [4, 5]
there are over 319 wild mexican grey wolves, after numbering only 7 in 1977. [6, 7]
there are at least 1300 wild przewalski's horses, after they were pronounced extinct in the wild with only 31 captive individuals in 1945. [8, 9]
hell, they still have sperm from the last male northern white rhino and are attempting to have a southern white rhino be a surrogate mom with his & the last two female's eggs. [10]
i know things can feel hopeless but i work in this field. there is still hope out there because people do genuinely care. even if it just reassures you about the environment around us, there is still some hope out there.
humans are not inherently bad. i know it's easy to say it but i promise that we are not. the assumption that all of humanity is evil and morally reprehensible for the extinction of species- yes, including species that we drove extinct ourselves- is discounting the work of millions of people trying to stop it from happening again. humanity is not evil. there is still hope, and there is still time. never forget that.
hey prev, dont worry! while there are still currently only between 8-11 vaquita individuals recorded as of 2024, the survey was also only done in a small region. their population has also actually stabilized and has not changed much, which is a great sign! in addition, there are active efforts to keep the Gulf of California clean and to remove illegal gillnets. [11, 12, 13]
at least my bad ankle isn't the one I drive with. it's the little things
Great way to introduce your recipe
Look, I get what you're saying, but sometimes you've gotta reach for the low-hanging fruit. Let's get you a proper meal, refill your meds, and unfuck your living space as best we're able; if after that you still want cute girls to kill you with axes, you'll be in a much better physical and mental place to pursue that goal.
*monkeyâs paw gives me a biiig thumbs up*
today I'm making lists online. because I'm not resting my hands
a rice cooker can be a disability aid
I joke that my strap harness is a disability aid (saves my hands) but I think my actual favorite disability aids are like
boots (keeps my ankles from rolling)
rice cooker (make a nice meal for my partner who's been helpful to me and it's nice to feel like I can contribute)
heated blanket (I think this technically isn't as good for my joints as icing them would be but it makes it bearable)
stolen subscription services (so I can watch things on my tv in my bed or on the couch and be temporarily distracted from hurting my hands)
but also yeah sometimes it is my cane and my ice pack wrist brace
