I used to be very active on the #autism and #asperger starlink-irc chat. My daughter died from cancer. My boyfriend and I broke up. I went to tech school BCIT and was flunking CISCO because of the exhausing 3 hour commute both ways. My son moved out and I was over-housed in social housing. As a result I also moved.
When active on starlink-irc I was also active on ANI email list run by Jim Sinclair and InLv email list run by Martijn Dekker and also left those groups.
After years away I tried to return to the irc only to find MIRC and X-Chat wasn't the same anymore. One even was a pay platform and neither chat program seemed supported by their developers.
While I talked of my life at the time, my children, and even my seperation and divorce. Somethings I didn't talk about included what I went through as a young child. I talked of some of my issues but others I didn't due to my degree of ptsd.
Now enough time has passed, away from abusive people and times, and away from some others connected to what happened.
So in some posts I'll mention what happened. While others may reflect my interests or views on other topics. Including music, art, or tv shows I like. I could mention some personal views on political issues. But probably better I don't. However, I might post satire, parody, and comedy. As well I also like festivals and have a pet hamster.
Unfortunately I also have to move again. Due to the social housing being redeveloped. They have offered a brand new one bedroom with balcony if I return later. I'm still awaiting them to offer me another unit before my current buildings demolished. So far 3 neighbours are moving.
