Three years ago, I lost my mom to lung cancer. Typing that still doesn’t feel real.
She wasn’t just my mom — she was my heart, my safe place, my best friend. The one who made everything feel lighter just by being in the room. She was love, laughter, and grace all wrapped up in one beautiful soul.
Watching her fight lung cancer was the hardest thing I’ve ever faced. She was strong, she was brave, and she never stopped caring about everyone else, even on the hardest days. I’ll never forget the way she smiled through her pain — because that’s who she was.
When she passed, I promised myself that her story wouldn’t fade quietly.

🩶 Lung Cancer Awareness — Why It Matters
Lung cancer doesn’t always come with obvious warning signs. By the time most people find out, it’s already advanced — and that’s what happened to my mom.
It’s the leading cause of cancer deaths for both men and women, but it still doesn’t get the awareness it deserves. And that needs to change.
Every conversation, every shared post, every story told helps shine a light on this disease. Awareness saves lives. Early detection saves families.
This isn’t just a campaign for me — it’s personal.

That’s the message I built this design around — “Together We Breathe Hope.” It’s more than just words. It’s a promise.
A promise that even when grief feels heavy, hope still lives in every breath we take. It’s for the daughters missing their moms, the families still fighting, and the survivors who remind us what strength looks like.
Creating this awareness design was emotional — but it felt right. Because when we wear these shirts, we’re not just spreading awareness… we’re carrying love forward. 💕
