America has backed all out corruption over civil service. Hey, previous federal governments were never perfect, far from it, but there was the stated intention of serving the Constitution and, therefore, the American people. These Trump tariffs have to be the biggest economic con job sprung upon the American people. So far, nothing has actually emerged out of them that you could take to the bank. Not that you would or could trust the financial realm with Trump at the nation’s helm. It is piss and wind just like the great man himself. Much ado about nothing, which will hurt consumers in the short term via upsetting the distribution of so many products in America. Trump sees himself as a permanent page one story in terms of the old legacy media model. He wants to be seen as the prime determinant for global trade because it makes him feel real important. The world media run around playing their roles as useful idiots in this staged play.
The American Sickness & Trump America is the home of out of control careerism and individual ambitions to the detriment of the planet. Their elected representatives and high court judges never know when to leave office and are there in their 80’s and beyond. The nation lacks generational revitalisation on this basis due to the selfishness of their leaders over decades. No limits have been set and in a culture of too much is never enough a toxic greed has flourished. Billionaires are the illustrative example of this and their lionisation by many Americans is proof of a sick materialistic society. The ugly American has broken free from any restraints to climb the Empire State building like a bloated aged King Kong with patchy orange hair. The world looks on in stunned silence at the outrages committed by this throwback to the 1930’s. All the time he is threatening ever larger tariffs upon nations near and far, most likely, in search of more gifts to stash away in boltholes for tomorrow.
