The Paradox of Inner Blocks: How What Holds You Back, Can Set You Free
It's been a while since I have been feeling stuck. But instead of resisting it, I decided to meet this stuckness with curiosity, asking what it needed from me. Coincidentally, during my yoga practice today, I experienced something new. I realized that this block is purely physiological - it's not real.
Throughout my practice, I noticed areas in my body that felt stuck. Yet, when I allowed myself to relax into the pose, I found that I could go further. This pattern continued throughout the practice.
This realization was significant. I’ve been feeling claustrophobic in my body recently. Perhaps because I’ve been overthinking the blocks I encounter instead of fully experiencing the fears and helplessness they bring. Relaxing into my blocks, I understood that stuckness is just a perception. There’s no end to me. I can prosper in any direction, unencumbered. This insight was both a revelation and a relief. Despite feeling stuck, there is always some space to move ahead - It's crucial to focus here.
These blocks are a reminder that we’ve reached the limits of what we know. It signals that we are entering uncharted territory, where many people may not identify with our journey. This makes it difficult to share these feelings, even with trusted people. But once we understand this process, surrendering to it becomes easier.
Surrender often brings us face-to-face with a loss of control, a sense of helplessness, and past pain. Yet this is part of the expansion process. Growth often requires the destruction of old patterns and comfort zones.
There's so much waiting for you beyond these blocks when you feel stuck. Lean into them, and you'll experience an inexplicable sense of freedom on the other side.
