Montreal based veterans Land Of Talk provided some heavenly news earlier this week to their long time fans. The Elizabeth Powell lead project will be releasing their first new album in seven years on May 19th via Saddle Creek Records. Its first stirring single is an understated gem named Inner Lover, a song they describe as being about self-determination, self-love, self-ownership, and the freedom to live and love as one chooses to. Inner Lover is diaphanous haunting, a minimalist indietronica gem with a warped and meditative aura that reminds me of Geographer’s downtempo and pensive songs. You can pre-order new album Life After Youth from Saddle Creek, here.
