What the inside of my mind looks like.
Give me some time to be by myself, be that in solitude, or in perfect silence, or in deep prayers, or in hour long contemplation, or even if it be in my own sphere of self indulgence: be that a lone walk across the creek, or a warm shower, or engrossed in reading or researching on a subject that i get passionate about. These are all my most basic essentials as much as food is to the body, these are my only fuel to sustain my internal functioning. I'd never come before the world unless I've had my good share of soul rejuvenation behind the curtains...

Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.
Lao Tzu
Almost all the real work happens underground: intentions, prayers, determination - just to count the top three. The inner work seems to be the grand wheel of destiny. Weak is the one who thinks that destiny is totally disconnected from us and is purely a heavenly matter. To me, our every breath and our every pulse governs how our destiny is shaped and how our fates get written. The true art of living in its entirety has been kept in remaining awakened, even a single thought, could change the entire course of your life journey - be sure you're navigating well...

and i said to my body. softly. ‘i want to be your friend.’ it took a long breath. and replied ‘i have been waiting my whole life for this.’
Nayyirah Waheed
Anchor the eternity of love in your own soul and embed this planet with goodness. Lean toward the whispers of your own heart, discover the universal truth, and follow its dictates. Release the need to hate, to harbour division, and the enticement of revenge. Release all bitterness. Hold only love, only peace in your heart, knowing that the battle of good to overcome evil is already won. Choose confrontation wisely, but when it is your time don’t be afraid to stand up, speak up, and speak out against injustice. And if you follow your truth down the road to peace and the affirmation of love, if you shine like a beacon for all to see, then the poetry of all the great dreamers and philosophers is yours to manifest in a nation, a world community, and a Beloved Community that is finally at peace with itself.
John Lewis (February 21, 1940–July 17, 2020)
