For all that Oikawa could pretend to be a good boyfriend person, he really didn’t like to. He much preferred to see other people squirming and flustered, the more embarrassed, the better. Just barely managing to hide the edge of a smirk on his lips, he reached up to tap at Sugawara’s chin, making him raise his head to meet Oikawa’s eyes.
There was a moment of silence where Oikawa just stared into Sugawara’s nervous, doe-like eyes. (It was ridiculous just how cute that look was on Sugawara.)
“Nope.” Oikawa said rather bluntly. His lips were set into a flat line--until it wavered, finally parting into a grin. “Nervousness isn’t attractive, Refreshing-san~! Ne, do I need to coach you in how to ask for a kiss?” Leaning in, he was close enough that their noses were almost touching. “The first thing is to look into their eyes, Suga-chan.”
