How this missing page had been found was… almost unthinkable. It was because of this very page that the book was tossed away in a garbage can among the alleys of Vale. One that it stung to write. 

No, there were no decorations that accompanied this page. No scents. No images. The text was hastily-written in pencil, even. He should have burned it. Incinerated it. Blown it to smithereens, but at the time he’d have thought no one would pay attention to a balled-up paper. 

Out of your entire team… out of your entire damn academy and all of Remnant, why do they have to send YOU to ruin my plans? Is it pure coincidence? Is it a cruel joke from Ozpin and the witch, knowing full well how much of a burden it is to even look at you!? 

Why, Red. Why you. Why couldn’t it have been anyone but you. It’d be so much easier killing any of those brats that come with you, but no. I hate you. I despise you more than those animals, and that takes a lot to do.

At this point in the entry, water marks had imprinted over the text and sullied the penmanship. 

And it’s not your fault! I can’t blame you for being the stupid girl who believes in good and bad sides. You want to be the heroine who saves everyone. We all were at one point, really.

…Including your mother. I can’t kill you because of that little bit of my damned criminal heart that felt for your damned mother. 

There’s not a clue in your head how much it irks all of us to have you within the vicinity. You look just like her. Sound just like her. Act just like her. And we all hate it. 

I’ll do what I need to, to get you out of my way. I’ll do what I need to if ordered to. But I’ll hate it. Every moment of it. Killing you, little Red, would be like killing your mother myself.

Entry - Like Roses

I'll admit, it's not everyday a 15-year old gets in to a prestigious academy designed to train Grimm killers.  

Then again, its not every day it rains men, giant hawks attack, and you get flung by an oversized insect in to a wall, either.  

Seriously...I'm literally writing lieing(Wow.) down on the floor right now because my back hurts so much.

Anyway...

Ruby Rose, leader of Team RWBY(Whatacoincidence).  Even though she's young, she clearly has a lot of experience.  She IS naive, but that makes her a bit  cute(I think?).  And she's also designed her weapon all by herself, so she's not just a prodigy, but also a genius.  It's amazing how fast she's progressed.  Ozpin was right, this year is going to be an interesting one.
