The Magic Cube is a precision made logic puzzle cube that highlights six noteworthy number sequences. The cube may look & move like a Rubik’s Cube but the similarities end there. The Magic Cube has 3,000 times as many combinations as a Rubik’s Cube, is completely monotone & is inscribed with numbers.

Dr. Kinlay, the cube’s designer, says, “I invented the thing and I know the solutions - I have trouble doing it. It could take me all day if I just picked one up.”

More than just an intriguing puzzle; the Magic Cube is also intended to stimulate interest in fundamental concepts of number theory, serve as a beautiful accessory, or a tactile device to hone your logic skills.

    We’re currently raising funds on Kickstarter so we can manufacture the metal cubes & develop an online solution software.

Guerrilla Truck Show In Review: Bustling and Beautiful

 We had a busy and thrilling evening during the 9th annual Guerrilla Truck Show on Tuesday!  It was a treat to have had the opportunity to speak to those who dropped by to chat about design.  The show was a huge success and we’re already looking forward to seeing what designs next year’s show will bring.

We took some time to walk around from truck to truck, wallow in the inspiring atmosphere, listen to the tunes & check out the featured designers.  Here are a few of our favorites from this year:

  MANUAL is a 'slow coffee' appliance that was designed to quietly sit on your countertop and provide the control of the pour-over brewing process in a single-cup preparation.

  The stunning nature scenes of JjH Studio were complemented by the whimsical display which was constructed by Michael Darin of Imvent.

  This wooden triptych is part of The Pieces Series by Stephen Winer.  The distinct finish and Frank-Lloyd-Wright-esque motifs were wonderful to see in person.

  We really enjoyed the dreamlike layout inside the truck by K Dille Designs. Kaisa Dille is a landscape designer and woodworker who turns salvaged wood into useful and beautiful furniture pieces and accessories.

  The  up-cycled wooden furniture and art pieces by Wreck Creation, an Old Town based store founded by Neil Galati, were simply jaw dropping.

  Design & branding firm, Weetu, displayed their scalable geometric designs. We wanted to put in an immediate order for their X4 Tent!
