Actually I fucking adore the Inquisitors’ lightsabers. They are such an amazing way to clearly and succinctly characterize the Inquistorius as an organization.
The rotating blades? The vast majority of the Inquisitors were children, Padawans or young war Knights who would not have had the time to develop the saber-deflection skills of adult Jedi, so the spinning serves as a quick and effective shortcut.
The practically identical designs? Every aspect of the Inquisitors’ lives is tightly controlled by the Empire, they live in a goddamn prison, and the standardization of a weapon that is literally connected to their souls is the most extreme manifestation of that.
Even the flight capabilities are kind of about their relationship to the empire: clinging to its technology rather than using the Force, because they were never taught anything else.
It’s actually sooo good if you just overthink it a lot :)
