I really love how the best evidence for romantic wildehopps are so innocuous.

like seriously, it's the best 'there's no platonic explanation for this' proof. without that scene, I can absolutely believe that nick's deep love and devotion COULD be purely platonic (pushing it, but I could believe it). BUT, the fact that that scene is there is great, because it's such a natural way for the writers to ease into a realization of feelings (if that is their plan) in Z3. Like no one would ever say they didn't see it coming.

and it is so so great, and so obvious, because nick is usually so blase about everything! hey nick, why are you getting so worked up about someone flirting with your parter?? it is so funny to think of an 'experienced' nick getting jealous about the most innocent of encounters. like how is he supposed to deal with judy's fanboys in the future?? (but maybe he'll be all right now, feeling more secure after their mutual confession)

wow to think he could get so bothered if someone else makes judy laugh instead of him. it's like he wants to say "you're my partner". I love how we can see how he can be possessive of her.

but not to worry, because judy is possessive of him back. even more so probably.

that custom suit? that gifted tie (I mean she was already pushing it by walking him around with his tie (and he lets her, this crazy fox) but for her to actually stake her claim like that?? her pinning her flower on him? all of those punches?? that's her partner. it's their anniversary.

it is utterly insane how possessive they are of each other. and all in a kid's movie wow.

I do kinda love the fact that Saxon is very likely the only one of the siblings with any viable professional experience after their father's arrest. It really opens up the door for Saxon to have to step in as a "provider" figure for Lochlan and I lowkey think they'd both be heavily into that dynamic tbh. Lochy's like "oh nooo Saxon has to step up and take care of me bc I'm basically helpless and seriously lack in all areas of job experience, what am I going to do 🙁" and Sax is like "oh noooo my beautiful demure little brother who I love to control is now also financially dependent on me ahh." like it could not be any more perfect for them im for real losing it guys lol
