So far Don't Be Too Emotional is basically going 'hey, a lot of the tropes you like in BL would be more than a bit terrifying in real life' and they're not wrong by any means. Between Dan's longstanding pining and watching him and then putting up the photos without asking for consent to P'Jane following him and pining him to the wall and buying all the photos.... they're both founded in romantic tropes from other BLs but here are just adding to Jane's horror and discomfort.

Heng is doing such a good job; I love how clearly he was able to portray that he wants to want Dan, but in fact, very much does not.

Also I keep thinking about Dan, and how he really is the same as Big Jane, just in a different flavor. He's also manipulative and a crosser of boundaries, but wears the veneer of the nice man much more adeptly than Big Jane.
