The sad thing is that the internet, which should be free and diverse, is only used by pure applications such as Facebook, X, tiktok, instagram and so on, which are the exact opposite of the ideas of the internet. Algorithms controlled by their tech CEOs that deliberately spread hate, agitation, tension and disinformation, and thus no longer serve to provide information without restrictions but are subject to complete control for targeted (we are not sure if we should still call it information) defence. (we are not sure if we should still call it information).
People who get their entire reality from just one of the applications are highly manipulable and controllable for the purposes of the owners of the respective applications.
Thus, the internet has somehow been perverted in a way that was not in the sense of the inventor.
Certain ethical and moral principles have effectively been abolished today, which will ultimately contribute to the brutalisation of the internet.
