Day 6 of Insanity X - Kepno
So I know Kepno is not actually a part of P90X and I was supposed to do Cardio Abs from Insanity today. I had heard that Kepno was a lot of fun and involved kickboxing and what not so I tried it. I did greatly enjoy that video. Next week I'll do the Insanity workout. Just wanted to see what all the buzz was about with Kepno.
I am most definitely less sore today, I thoughts I'd be way sore after doing back and legs but I guess my body is finally adjusting. This is a good thing as I am a bridesmaid in a wedding and am required to wear heels on Friday.
Tomorrow is my day of rest which is great because after work I plan on coming home packing and flying back home to do my bridesmaid esque things before the wedding Saturday. So excited to go home!
Day 5 of Insanity X - Back, Legs, Abs
Just finished Day 5 of my Insanity X workout! Did Back, Legs and Abs today. Sweat a lot, def like these types of exercises better than the yoga one, a lot more fast paced, constantly doing something, moving quickly between sets.
Tomorrow I may skip the Insanity workout and do Kepno of the P90X series instead because I heard its a lot of fun. I'll do Kepno this week and if I like it i'll keep doing that one instead of the second insanity workout each week.
Woot woot, Almost done a week now :D
Day 4 - Insanity X - Yoga X
So I forgot to post this yesterday, so I'll do it today, you'll just get 2 updates from me today as I will post later when I do my legs and back.
Yesterday I did Yoga X, you would think that Yoga would be easier than the other videos, but it wasn't. Going slower and doing isolated moves makes you sweat buckets. It was also really long, the video was about 1h and 20 mins. I got bored halfway through paused it took a break and went back to it later. I'm hoping next week I can get through the whole thing without stopping.
It's a great workout but it's really not my favorite workout so far. Yoga is too slow for me, I like things that are more fast paced. I'll let you know how tonights workout goes, I'm pretty sure since it's back I'm going to have to do some pull ups. That should be fun considering I'm currently unable to straighten my arms.
Wish me luck!
Day 3 of Insanity X - Shoulders/Arms/Abs
Just completed day 3 of Insanity X workout. Today was a P90X workout for Shoulders/Arms/Abs. I was able to complete all of the Shoulders and Arms workout today without a problem despite the fact that I'm still super sore from yesterday. I had a hard time completing the Ab Ripper X workout though, my arms gave out in parts and my abs in others.
Hopefully I see some improvement next week!
Day 2 of Insanity X - Plyometrics Cardio Circuit
So I just completed day 2 of the Insanity/P90X hybrid workout (InsanityX). I completed Plyometrics Cardio Circuit today, which was tough- it was my first workout from the Insanity series. I wasn't able to do all the floor exercises as I ran out of energy and couldn't keep up. So I just tried to keep moving so my heart rate wouldn't get lower. I finished up once the floor stuff was over and I was able to keep up again.
I hope next week I'm able to keep up with them. Def an amazing workout though. Would highly recommend !
Day 1 of Insanity X workout COMPLETE
I was not able to wake up early to complete my work out, however I did do it when I got home from work :)
I'm following this plan:
http://zillafitness.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/insanityx_screen.jpg
So today was Day 1: Which was Chest/Back/Abs, I wasn't quite able to keep up with them and had to do a lot of the push ups on my knees. I started on my feet and went down to my knees.
However, I didn't find it to be too bad. I used a chair for assisted pull ups with the pull up bar.
I'm not following the Nutiriton plan because I can't afford it as an unpaid intern at the moment, so instead i'm following Weight Watchers and add activity points to account for my increased activity.
I'm using chocolate milk as a replacement for the recovery drink which is not an issue since I drink it pretty much everyday anyways! I need Chocolate milk like other people need coffee.
I took before pics but I don't want to post them until I see some actual results in a few weeks.
