what do you think will happen to the 'throuple' in s2 (if insatiable gets greenlit for a s2 that is)? do you think they'll explore it more or just ignore it? its the first time in tv that i have seen poly rep

I HOPE it gets S2! It’s such a great show that’s thoroughly misrepresented by critics and reviewers. 

I think they’ll move on from it. Bob B said that the only reason he had the threesome was so that Coralee didn’t feel left out. He expresses how even though he enjoys having sex with women, he’s gay emotionally. So he’s not interested in having a relationship with  a woman again especially now that Edda Mae has agreed to the divorce. 

Coralee was open for it, but during this conversation she told Bob A that she’s ok if it was just her and Bob A. She loves him and she tried for him, but at the end of the day she only wants him.

Bob A loves both Bob B and Coralee. If they both wanted the throuple then I believe S2 would have explored that and continue to show it since we got a lot of Bob B talking about how they shared more than sex but real intimacy between each other. 

He now has to choose who he wants to be with since Bob B and Coralee aren’t interested in the other person, they only want Bob A. 

If you want to see a poly relationship represented on TV try Shameless. I’m not sure what season, maybe 3 or 4? But there’s a throuple between Veronica, Svetlana and Kevin. It’s on Showtime so it’s more explicit than Insatiable. There’s also You Me Her on Netflix.

I would just like to say, I’m not usually pulled in by ff with an oc but yours looked really well planned and thought out (and I love troian lol) so I read Insatiable and the prologue for Indomitable and holy shit they are AMAZING!!! HONESTLY!!! This is my new favourite fanfic and I love you for making it THANK YOU!! Can’t wait to read more!!!

4: What's your favorite line of dialogue?“I’m sort of really into him.” Ellis raised aneyebrow and Lowery backtracked at a remarkable speed. “Academically, I amreally into him academically.”

9: Were there any alternate versions of this fic?The fic was originally Owen/OC, I think that’s made pretty clear from Owen and Ellis’ first meeting. But then I wrote lowellis and everything changed. (also theres lowkey a version where Ellis dies but then JW2 was announced and I was trash)

11: What do you like best about this fic?I really like Ellis’ characterisation. I like that she is a strong female lead that doesn’t rely on men to save her. She’s smart and can handle herself. I also really love Ellis and Owen’s friendship. They love each other so much but it’s super platonic and I like that.

13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn't listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?Honestly, I listened to the Jurassic Park soundtrack a lot. Also a lot of Phil Collins but that’s just my personal fave so I listen to him most days when I’m doing most things. (I’m listening to Sussudio right now...) I’d say anything by John Williams is good to accompany the fic though so definitely give it a go. My personal fave is ‘Journey to the Island’

15: What did you learn from writing this fic?I learnt that it’s okay for your character to be flawed, that sometimes they don’t need to be indestructible because it shows that they are human just like the rest of us. I also learnt a lot about myself, my strengths and weaknesses when it came to writing and what actually motivates me to write. (lowkey its reviews, I swear whenever Insatiable got a review I was suddenly pumped to write more)

POV — something that’s already happened, retold from another character’s perspective

“Owen,run!” Ellis managed to scream, despite the searing pain it caused to so much asbreathe. Her voice was raspy, and her throat was painful, but it was loud,louder than she’d ever shouted before and not the sort of voice that Owen wouldfind easy to disagree with. On the orders of his best friend, Owen ran acrossthe street, pulling Claire and the boys along behind him as he dragged theminto a store in an attempt to seek safety.

From the safety of the store they’d sought shelter in, Owen peered outside. He looked across the street to where Ellis Grant sat, pinned to the spot by a jagged piece of metal and surrounded in a pool of her own blood. His heart was beating so loudly that he could hear it in his ears, his mouth was dry and his eyes stung with tears. 

The two enormous dinosaurs, which were still battling fiercely with one another, stood between him and his very best friend. Owen could tell, from the distant look on Ellis Grant’s face and the way the colour seemed to be draining from her usually tan skin that these were her last moments. Ellis Grant was dying and he wasn’t there with her, and that broke his heart.

i was rereading insatiable the other day and honestly it's still one of the best fics i've ever read and my heart is still broken from the first time around but seriously you should be proud of yourself for writing such a masterpiece and idk where i'm going with this but all i wanna say is that you're so darn talented okay bye

Oh my goodness, thank you so much??? I don’t know what to say. But this is the sweetest ever and I can’t fathom why someone would feel that way about anything I’ve written but I’m so thankful that you do. Insatiable is really so special to me and I’m so so so pleased you enjoyed it.

I love Insatiable, I think it's wonderfully written and Ellis is such a real character! There aren't many Jurassic World fics out there, but I think yours is the best I've ever seen. <3 Please don't listen to that anon, though I know the rude comments stick in our heads more than the nice ones, but I thought I would send you this anyway. <3 I care about what you write and can't wait for the part 2 of Ellis's story! <3 *hugs*

Honestly, thank you so so so much. It means a lot to have someone say that about any of my fics but Insatiable especially because that fic is so special and so dear to me, as is Ellis as a character. I’m so pleased that you like it and you’re excited for part 2!
