@insaticble asked: SPRAIN ⠀ׅ⎖ akane towards sonia ⠀ׅ⎖
A Comprehensive List of Scenarios
"Owari-san, really now! You need not do this!" Sonia protested from Akane's arms. For the first minute or so, she'd acquiesced to being scooped up. But now it was a tad embarrassing: her classmate had carried her from the running track, throughout the Hope's Peak campus, across the main courtyard, and to the main building. After school hours, no less: at least there would be fewer people to inquire about her condition (mainly she suspected Kazuichi would have made himself scarce by that hour).
But that didn't change the fact that Sonia felt foolish. She was supposed to be an asset to Class 77-B's track and field team for the school's annual Sports Day: for as much as she was hopeless at singing, at playing musical instruments, at art, at cooking and cleaning, athletics was something she could do and could contribute to when called upon. It wasn't as if there was a ballroom dancing competition, or a contest for the best etiquette and manners, or quick language translation exercises for the school's various cultural and sports competition days, so Sonia felt compelled to contribute where she was able. Normal students could do so much, she thought, from concerts to maid and butler cafes to portrait sketches, all in pursuit of raising money for their Class Trip in their third year. Surely, she should be able to take hold of a baton and sprint as fast as she could to hand it off to her waiting classmate.
And yet, and yet, she couldn't even manage that. Thirty minutes into their practice session, Sonia had tripped over an untied shoelace and had faceplanted right into the curve of the track, stumbling over her ankle and scraping up her shins and forearms in the process.
"I am sure I would have been just fine if I sat for a few minutes off to the side," She insisted, unable to do much but allow Akane to continue climbing up the stairs to the Main Course building's second floor, undoubtedly to the Nurse's office. "Besides, I doubt Mikan-san is even still here. And if so, I would hate to trouble her for this, it surely is not that serious!"
Her words, unfortunately, did not match up with her physical state. Her ankle was swelling from pink to an angry shade of red, and she'd scraped off several layers of skin on her arms and legs, blood trickling from the former.
Oh shit, she was going to bleed on Akane now. If she couldn't inconvenience her any more, she'd found a way to do so.
"Please, Owari-san, I should be able to treat this myself: I have been taught emergency first aid in my military training, and I would hate to be an inconvenience to anyone," She begged with flushed cheeks, though still keeping a firm hold on Akane's shoulders. "I just want to help our class obtain a well-deserved victory!"
