Hahaha I missed several days because I'm lazy -.-
So I'm just going post 3 days right now so that I can catch up to the other half of this LDR duo.
We both attended different youth groups in Cairns when we were in high school. Around 4 times a year a bunch of different youth groups would all come together for one massive night. It was here at one of these events that I met Thomas. While I do still have vague memories of hanging out with him and asking him to play the 'baseball song' on a church organ that isn't the story of how we got to know each other. We never asked for each others number, we never kept in contact and he became just another familiar face in my memory. Actually I'm not sure if he remembered me at all, I'd gotten introduced to him at least 3 different occasions (I'm a fairly forgettable person, should be useful if I ever decide to rob a bank). I thought he was cute though.
Now the story of how we stumbled into the relationship, well that's just one of pure chance and is thanks entirely to Jess. It was the start of a new semester of uni, a new semester and a new excuse to be forced into 'getting to know you' exercises in our tutorials. A friend of mine paired up Jess, my friend was wearing a nerdy t-shirt and Jess decided to ask him if he had tumblr. He did. She wrote down her url on a piece of paper and gave it to him. Knowing exactly how addicted I was to tumblr my friend decided to pass the url onto me. I inboxed Jess and told her that I was in the same law class as her, as it turned out she'd already been following me. She found a person off tumblr! Who actually does that? That's crazy awesome :) We got to talking and became friends, somewhere along the way she mentioned me to Thomas and before long he was following me on tumblr as well.
After he constantly reblogged just about everything I was posting I decided to check out his blog. I recognized his photo and started inboxing him. We soon moved from inboxing on tumblr to talking on facebook. At the same I also began talking to Keir another friend of Jess's. He began teaching me Magic the Gathering; a game Thomas was addicted to. As soon as I got my own MTG deck Thomas and I began playing together via skype and somewhere along the way we began liking each other.
