What I find funny, and this was NOT intentional at all
I am actually house Hufflepuff (there is-….no hiding that) and I have a millipede with the Hufflepuff colors
forced to adjust things in my mantis tank with one hand because she insists on sitting on my hand/finger and watching.
She is so clingy and likes to be held. She loves it when I talk to her and call her pretty
Just transferred my springtail from a clay culture that molded over to a brand new soil and moss culture. Hopefully they do well in here. I lost a lot of them during the transfer sadly so the fish food and rice is a gift to prevent them from killing and eating me in my sleep as a sacrifice
So this year we forwent the normal cake and ice cream idea and instead had watermelon!
I just cut little bits off my little watermelon slice and fed some to a few of my bugs to :) eeeeeeveryone gets some hehehe
Mealworm project is going well!
You can see on the calendar there that there were 3 molts today!!! They are for sure getting bigger.
This for sure feels like something I was supposed to do
I even made their powder myself! It’s ground rolled oats.
She’s getting big enough that you can actually SEE her. She’s up there on the top where the mesh is.
Normally she has more in there to hang from but I had to remove the black berry vines last night because they were getting really gross. And then she molted the next morning so now I can’t do anything with her tank or her for 24 hours or it might mess up the remaining process of drying out and hardening
