The thoughts she had of him were maddening. Not in a sexual way but just in a way of overwhelming desire.
She couldn’t control herself around him! Glancing at him whenever possible. Watching as his head turns her way.
Dreaming of all the pretty moments they could have together.
At this point it may just be obsession. All she did was think about him. There’s no way she couldn’t.
His features made soft just so she could enjoy. His side profile showing off his perfectly curved nose.
The subconscious things he did that only she noticed. Like the flick of his head to remove his overgrown hair from eyesight.
She dreamed to be the one he smiled at. Looking at him and making him laugh like she managed to with others.
She wanted his pretty eyes to capture hers for a moment too long. Again and again.
All she wants is the moment they were close enough to be out alone in the dark. Under the moon’s blessing and the large oak tree’s curtain of life.
She wants the moment where he would hold her face oh-so-gently to look up at him.
She wants to see the soft shadows on his face as he looks at her with the same love she has for him.
She wants to be so close that she feels his soft breaths and sees his heart wrenching smile.
She wants to kiss him slowly. Softly, to take it all in as much as possible.
And she knows that if he knew she felt this for him he would be surprised. Surprised someone could love things about himself that he didn’t.
But she couldn’t tell him. It’d be far too embarrassing. So for now she settles for watching him, discreetly, from across the table.
