i have to laugh cause id1 is about a bunch of people playing a videogame/rpg sort of thing that have never participated in either of those before like

hather's a priestess class but irl she's a relentless agnostic who practices alternative medicine

and now she's supposed to be some spiritual healer but she doesn't know that or know how it would work

so she just does what she's always done instead

o no i jsut realized the main couple i picked out for insert disk one like i had this adorable backstory and they start playing the game together but once they enter the y don't r emem ber eac h o ther oh no

im so excited to get down to character development for these two you have no idea

so the concept is for something called Insert Disk One

basically it's about some people that get a disk in the mail, some sort of no strings attatched online fantasy game. Only a few of those actually run the disk.

After clicking play they wake up in the game, with no memory of getting/starting the game and a very vague idea of who they were before it, and it's sort of sci-fi fantasy world that's basically a race from one spot to another. The game was designed in a sort of hunger games esque way (one winner that kills the others) but, having no knowledge of the game, the players team up to win, realizing their strengths and weaknesses and make it to the end together

and a thing on the character development through it, since the characters have barely an idea of who they were before the game, essentially they recreate themselves as who they want to be. a bit like dreamselves/god tiers in homestuck, like, say some kids a total punk, but a follower just goes with what people say whatever, but then in the game he finally has the opportunity to bring out his leadership skills and becomes some sort of rank/class that suits their new selves, though they soon realize that it was way easier to be the people society wanted them to be

also probably the people were chosen by an entity??? like hand picked to play the game like the strongest will survive like in charlie and the chocolate factory

ive had this idea for a while but the whole immersive video game concept shouted TRON and HOMESTUCK at me so im kind of on the fence about it...,,.,..,
