call for submissions, new issue, and writing contest *~~**~~~*
We’ve decided to start putting out issues of Insert Lit Mag Here again. The reading period for our May issue is January 10th to April 1st (work submitted outside of the reading period will not be considered). We’re looking for your poetry, prose, and visual art for this new issue. This will be the seventh issue of Insert Lit Mag Here and the first since our long hiatus. We’re also going to be selling print copies of our issues now. (More info of this to come, but contributors will receive 2 free copies).
If you’ve forgotten what type of work we like, here’s a little refresher. Insert Lit Mag Here seeks to publish work from all over the Internet. We want to accept a high caliber of work without being elitists, finding a balance between established and emerging writers. As always, we look for work that bares its teeth created by artists who are willing to allow it to do so.
We have also decided to hold the first ever Chipped Tooth Press writing contest. All writing submissions for this new issue of Insert will be considered. The prize is $75 (payable through paypal) and a feature with an interview in the May issue.
Send all submissions as attachments to [email protected]. With your submission please include a short bio and mail address (for sending copies of the magazine should your work be accepted).
