Most of my ships are not canon, they either didnt end up together, one of them died, left, or the story doesnt have an ending and there is no way to know what may have happen.

All of this is to say, no matter what happens you will always have fandom, you'll have fandom to celebrate or mourn, you'll have community to lift and patch you up or rejoice with you.

I was a klance shipper back then and while I think there will never be an ending as bad as voltron I'm glad that it existed and I got invested in it, I'm glad that the fandom was there after the ending to make content even to this day, and to be honest, community is sometimes more important that the media itself. This is not me saying that you shouldnt fight for representation or what you believe in, it is me saying that you will not be alone while doing so no matter the outcome and thats important to remember too!

Fandom is for fun and fandom is for unlimited imagination! How wonderful is it to have soooo much interest in a particular fandom there are actual choices available and preferences developing!

Think about it… we have these characters and worlds created by someone from their heart and shared with us so we can enjoy them and play with them too! Maybe a fandom is so old or in depth different official creators see then different or different actors see the character from a perspective opposite yours!

Relax and when you don’t agree with something, move onward! Our world is already so stressful and full of complexity and hurt, no need to create more in fandom because you don’t like the way someone has written your favorite character different!
