Fandom is for fun and fandom is for unlimited imagination! How wonderful is it to have soooo much interest in a particular fandom there are actual choices available and preferences developing!

Think about it… we have these characters and worlds created by someone from their heart and shared with us so we can enjoy them and play with them too! Maybe a fandom is so old or in depth different official creators see then different or different actors see the character from a perspective opposite yours!

Relax and when you don’t agree with something, move onward! Our world is already so stressful and full of complexity and hurt, no need to create more in fandom because you don’t like the way someone has written your favorite character different!

April is here!

And that means: the month has arrived that will see the 13th anniversary of Bering and Wells meeting, on Sunday the 23rd - in three weeks!

We've kicked off the celebrations by starting a Big Bang, for which five writer/artist/beta teams are working hard to bring you amazing long-form stories and art!

We will have a Zoom meet-up on the 23rd: 13 hours for the 13th anniversary, to make sure that no matter the time zone, we'll have the chance to meet up and say hi! Will include: episode streams, episode discussions, headcanon bingo, trivia quiz, and more!

A Round Robin has been suggested but postponed - but we could start it on the 23rd, if people are interested and have time!

And last but not least, here's a set of prompt lists for fanworks for the 13 days leading up to the 23rd, to celebrate the amazing makers and crafters in this fandom!

600 followers is a lot and given this blog has only been around for a little over two months, I’m both amazed and super honored that there’s already 600+ of you here for the ride! I said I was gonna do something to celebrate at 100 followers, then 200, and then it kinda got hard to figure out what exactly I should do to celebrate for any milestone given a common thing to do is write out fic requests and, well, I kinda do that on the regular already. Anyway, I figured out what I’ll do so we are getting a blog celebration at 600! I’ll be doing a mixture of things because I seriously am super grateful to reach this blog milestone. Insert a bunch of heart eyes and uwu’s right here because that’s me, hands down.

Here are the activities for this celebration:

1) Opening @dearbyler for writing requests! Details can be found here.

2) Opening this blog up to gif requests! I’ll start off with the “make me choose” meme, so feel free to send two ST topics (ie. characters, relationships, episodes) and make me choose between them! I’ll for sure do the first six (for six hundred heh) for starters.

3) Loving you all for supporting this blog, my writings, and well, being so kind and amazing to talk with! My inbox is always open for discussion and my messages are too, and sometimes it takes a while for me to reply but I do see everything and I am over the moon that y’all still ain’t tired of me yet! Anyway, I’m gonna take out some time throughout this next week to go to some of your inboxes and leave messages! Reminder that clericbyers is a side blog so my asks will be sent from @tozierichard if you have anon off, else I’ll sign off with this blog’s url. (or just yams since that’s kinda . my brand)

And that’s that folks! Thanks again for sticking with this blog; I did not expect to reach such a milestone this quickly. I’m pleased that the past couple months have been so much fun and that we can all enjoy content together about our favorite idiot boys in love. The holidays will soon be upon us! In the spirit of the season, the RJD Team and the Writing Network along with some first-time guest writers, have decided to do a little something special for the fandom.

We couldn’t think of a better way to mark the season as a fandom, than by celebrating Richonne nearly EVERYDAY in December!

So we are very happy to present to you, the 25 Days of Richonne - a month-long Richonne Holiday event!

Today for fandom celebration, I have decided to talk about long, epic fic writers. Thank you!!!Nearly every fandom has at least one; some have hundreds! What amazing skill it takes to plot and tie together threads! How kind you are to share your story with us, to juggle other commitments with this free labor of love you have with your fandom! I am in awe of your commitment to the end, even when it’s taken a full on decade to finish your story!

I, as a voracious but slow reader, love nothing more than to snuggle up in the corner of my sofa on a lazy day with my tablet and a blanket and my cat and perhaps a little snack. I LOVE to dig into an adventure or romance or thriller about my favorite fandom characters in ways their canon sources might not ever allow, and know I will be sucked into their world for a good while, a day, a week, sometimes nearly a month for some authors who have shared multiple novel length fics in the same storyline.
