no. he doesn’t like that tone. she’s always the barer of bad news when she uses that exact voice. soft & empathetic, for once he actually does not want to hear it. ❛ C’MON BELL, work with me here. ❜ even though he’s pleading, it almost sounds off like a threat because deliberately it is. he can’t sit this one out, he has a game to win! practice or no practice, he can’t just lie about & do NOTHING with only a book to be his companion. what’s even worse is that it’s a text that wasn’t even in his vocabulary. he only has a few weeks left to best slytherin. a sudden breakage to his right arm just had to ruin everything he had been trying so hard to achieve in a matter of seconds! he’d be out for TWO WEEKS at most, they’d never perfect their strategic defense. the other houses are were step ahead for once, even RAVENCLAW who is commonly known for their failed attempts at the HOUSE CUP seemed to have a take on their oppositions.
