Inside Infamous Paintball #08 - Zack Patient

Inside Infamous with Zack Patient - Growing Up 2/1/2016

After long debate, I have chosen to withdraw from Infamous this 2016 season. Having the opportunity to play for such a high-class management and organization has allowed me to gain the knowledge to become a better player and overall person. The past four years have definitely been an experience I will value and grow from for the rest of my life. It has been a complete honor to wear an Infamous jersey and receive so much support from an organization and fans, regardless of the ups or downs we faced.

As we all know, paintball requires a major commitment of time and energy in order to fulfill the team’s objective. Sadly, I do not feel I can deliver that for Infamous at this particular time. Currently, I am finishing my undergraduate in Chicago as well as working in an orthopedic surgeons office until I apply for physician assistant’s school sometime later this year.

I want to thank everyone at Empire+ Kee+ CPX for their amazing provision including Travis Lemanski for being a great mentor and friend, as well as each player I have stepped on the field with that wore an Infamous jersey. It has been an awesome four years guys and I will always consider you as family! Thank you #gyds

Inside Infamous Paintball #05 - Paintball Off Season

Inside Infamous with Trevor Resar - During the off season 1/20/2016

What have you been up to this off season? I took the first couple of weeks off after World Cup. After a year full of paintball, it was nice to take some time to catch up with friends and family. After that, I got back on a clean eating diet and started training to prepare for the upcoming season.

Outside of paintball, what other interest do you have? I own a business buying, building, and selling classic cars and trucks. I spend the majority of my time chasing after classic vehicles all over the country.

What are you looking forward to most for the upcoming season? I’m most looking forward to diving back into it as a team again. After having a full year to gel with the team, I’m really excited to start playing again. There has been enough time to learn each of my team mates tendencies and playing style. I feel like now, we can really start to develop as a group.

Do you do anything special to keep yourself ready for such a long break between cup and the first event in 2016? Nothing too crazy. I try to go back over film from the previous year and take note of mistakes that were made. Having all of our games on-line is a fantastic tool for self diagnosing problems and problem areas for yourself and your team.

If you could have one car, what would it be and why? Man, talk about a tough question. Between my dads collection of cars growing up, and my collection/inventory currently, I have been around a lot of sought after vehicles. I have always had a soft spot for early Thunderbirds, Shelby Mustangs, and 1969 Hurst Olds. But my number one pick would actually have to be one that is nowhere near as valuable. I’d really like to own a Mercury Unibody M-100 short bed pickup  with the “Big Back Window” option. They made very few of them, and most ended up in Canada. I would build it similar to the Ford Unibody truck I currently own, clear coated patina on the outside, and modern suspension and drive train on the inside.

Inside Infamous with Alex "Mouse" Goldman - Post Dallas Thoughts 4/2/2015

It's been a while since you hoisted a PSP trophy, how does it feel being back on top? The feeling never gets old but I've already moved on, looking forward to winning Nashville!

We all know everyone wasn't too happy to see the true semi mode when it first came out, after playing a full event with it how do you feel about it now? I actually liked the true semi based on the fact that I think it works more in favor for a front player because I think with this mode it is more difficult for the back line to lane players off the break and hold lanes during the game.

Was there a specific point during the Dallas event where you thought to yourself...we can really win this. Honestly after every point played during the tournament my confidence and I think the rest of the team's confidence was growing. After the prelims though I had a good feeling about the tournament.

Everyone knows you're jacked and tan...who on the team do you think could give you a run for your money at the gym? Either Patient or Bornstein

You have been bouncing around to teams landing back on the ironman for a while, looking for that winning combination and really a team that could play off your aggressive style. Do you think you have found that with the Infamous squad? That was one of the biggest reasons I wanted to play for this team. I knew this squad would be a great fit for my style. I think this is the strongest back line and support I've had in awhile. Not to mention some of the best communication I've witnessed on the field which makes it a lot easier for me and everyone else on the team.

You have now made it through your first event with the team, what's something about Infamous you didn't know before joining the team? Drew is a serial killer
