So the current set up of the downstairs for those that are wondering is as follows:
The stairs are connected to Summer’s bedroom in the back of the house.
Right after that is a door which will remain unlocked for new ‘visitors’.
There is a small 4 square room with the solid wood door on it which is locked to keep ‘guests’ inside. (I found that in TS3 this double-door method really works best for maximum security.)
There are only two bushes right now which they can sleep or relieve themselves in.
I did not give them a couch specifically because I did not want them napping on it. So unless they are dead tired, I don’t believe they can fall asleep in the chairs.
The kitchen is made up of the cheapest counters, fridge, microwave, and sink. No stove so they can’t burn Summer’s house down. (After all, she’s a wood nymph. If they set her beloved environment and home on fire... Well they’d really be dead!)
The living space has the three chairs, a cheap tv, and a bookcase. And yes, the Tragic Clown painting.
If someone decides to view it, they will be forced to deal with him as well as the sadness he brings with him. (I thought that would be a fun touch.)
Though I am unsure if the Clown will be able to get through the locked door, or if he can teleport upstairs to bother Summer as well. I suppose it will be a part of the price to pay for his services.
Lastly, I just wanted to note that none of this was planned. It was quite ironic. I built the downstairs as you see it, and they just happened to come along when I was interacting with Vivian (the woman). So it truly was Travis’ fault for walking into her home, going downstairs, and bringing his friends with him... *evil laugh*
