2/3 - A few days ago, I witnessed quite a few supposed "malex shippers" come out of the woodworks to prop up an anti-malex post and proclaim how terrible malex shippers are, how they push people into private conversations and make people hate malex, AT THE SAME TIME asking the fandom to support their malex creations. Not only did that seriously disappoint me, but it was also very clear that anyone who goes out of their way to promote this supposed inclusivity was doing so only to gain followers
3/3 - and attention. I hope instead of having to feel the need to promote your NOTPs, you reach out to malex shippers who don't get the promotion and support they deserve, and use your blog and your follower capacity to support creators sharing works of ships you DO like. I followed you first, and continue to do so because you are a fellow Alex Manes stan and I would hate to lose that thread of connection with you
Okay I’m not familiar with this post you speak of. Link me if you want. I’ll always be an Alex and malex stan. If any fellow malex shippers want more attention to their stuff, I hope they send it to me bc I’ll gladly have it on my blog. It’s funny that you say people are doing this to gain followers, because I’ve lost five since last night.
It’s very difficult for me it seems to find a balance between not enough passion and too much passion. It’s one of the reasons I’ve been quiet until recently, because I was enraged for so long and I had nothing positive to say. Now I’ve gotten to a point where I feel cooled off and I have gained some perspective and -who knows- that could totally change with the new season, but I’m going to try my best to maintain positivity. It’s a difficult situation when you have a blog that a lot of people are going to see even when you don’t tag anything, because it feels like anytime I vented about m&m, Vlamis, Maria, Alex, etc it turned into a much bigger thing than I intended?
