Keith always found it nice whenever he and Shiro could plan an outing on a day where it didn’t feel like he was TRAPPED IN AN ICE BOX and could actually walk outside in a light sweater through the park hand in hand with his boyfriend. He enjoyed the outdoors and being around nature even if most weather phenomena was annoying and got in the way of that.

The park path was calm and quiet aside from the sound of wind rustling through the leaves or their own shoes crunching them under their feet. Of course, the best part was when Keith found a nice tree to climb and had immediately sought to scamper up it with ease, swinging down as he was held by his legs and just about at eye level with Shiro.

❝ HEY. ❞ He greeted with a smile, face going red with all the blood rushing into his head but he needed to try something. It was terribly cliché and just THE CHEESIEST THING EVER but who didn’t want to try kissing spider-man at least once?

So, it was with careful movements that he reached out to cup Shiro’s face and bring him forward, their lips slotting easily in a lazy kiss- made just a little difficult by Keith’s dumb grin he couldn’t make disappear. Now just wasn’t the time to show happiness on his face, he was trying to kiss his perfect boyfriend.

That giddiness won out in the end, Keith pulling back with a quiet laugh as he swung down from the brach to take back his spot next to Shiro, red-faced and still GRINNING LIKE A FOOL.
