It has been over 2 weeks now.

After deleting my accounts on dating websites, I now find myself one insomniac hobby short. It makes me wonder if I should have gone to sleep instead of randomly attempting to talk to people around the world.

I could not sleep in the first place. That was the point of lurking around and reading profiles to try to understand the human behind the words. I would write up something small with thought as a message, and then never get a reply. I could be as honest and true as one can be, but on dating websites, it looks like people want to be lied to.

I will rarely shower anybody with physical compliments. I will look at the person on the inside and try to greet them. The dreams, the ideas, the desires, and the goals of life. Looking in that how and what they think is not that hard to ask. Then, I get no replies, or a rare one saying that I was objectifying and generalizing them when asking about if they liked a specific genre of music/movie/shows based off the posters/shirt/emblems in their images.

If I can't sleep, I think too much. I look for answers to strange ideas when I have the time. It sometimes takes me places where I realize that people filter their humanity by internet, and we will never know the true person without sitting with them for a few days.

I have a handful of friends where I live, I viciously rarely see them. Insomnia drives me to roam online to try to chat with people to find some conversation. On dating websites, people become bad human beings, and we all put up with it.

I am not a great and mighty male that can have any woman. You Never see my shirtless pictures and imagine me roar like a lion on pride rock. I am just a regular guy that works different kinds of jobs, pays his bills, and has more indoor hobbies because of not having people to go out and do things with regularly. I just want to chat. Everyone online misses the point, and think I am just trying to get in their pants. I give up.

I really do hate dating sites. It is hard to find friends. Insomnia makes me do weird things.

I am quite normal, I just speak more out of my brain than others feel shamed to share.
