how to tell you're depressed
vol 1 — how is your sleep? do you sleep too much? do you feel lethargic after all of that sleep? do you not sleep at all? sleep a tiny bit? does your mind race over and over with thoughts that don't have any business being there? how are your hobbies? are you still passionate for the same things? or does looking at your sketchbook/canvas/camera remind you how hard you used to work? it brings up feelings of then and now. things were different, maybe better, back before the clouds drifted over you. now, they follow everywhere, and you can't shake this feeling. this walking underwater feeling that makes every movement more difficult, every breath is like suffocating, and your brain is filled with water. your irritated by stupid shit, simple things like conversation and questions. you find yourself crying in random places because your emotions caught up to your thoughts. you want to lay in the middle of a room, trying to feel SOMETHING. this numbness won't go away. as you lay there, you remember what this were like then. the now is the depressing part.
